We all have trouble with conversions from pounds to grams to ounces , feet to centimetre’s to yards to metres to miles to kilometre, PSI to Bar or UK shoe sizes to US or EU. Being the most confusing for some I think is decimals to fractions or vice versa.
At times it can very confusing, imagine you’ve found a gorgeous looking recipe for duck and the ingredient’s required are all shown in metric with no conversion. Purchase a cookery book in another country with just imperial measurements.
So then you have to go online to check or check the conversion on your phone.
So I’ve just put a few on here to help us out a bit. It would be easier if everyone around the globe used the same measuring systems, but imagine the costs to change now.
Conversion Charts and Oven Temperatures. Baking aid to convert cups, ounces and liquid measurements.
For example: 1 lb. -( pound ) unit of weight converts to 16 oz. ( ounce ) weight.
